Super yummy tacos!!! This location is the best! New owners are so nice and you can't beat the hot sauce! It's evident they care about the quality of food they are serving!
Now Reopen June 2024 Congratulations to Humberto and crew for remodeling and updating Been a regular customer since the 70's When the founder and his previous partner ( Taco Inn ) split up. This Taco DeLite was originally in old Sandy's Hamburger location Previous partner founded Taco Casa I'm a Taco DeLite devotee Their food , recipes, and service are top notch. The cheese nachos are spectacular Tacos are delicious Meaty Tostadas are worth a try Truly, there isn't a selection that disappoints Please add this restaurant to your fast food Mexican restaurants. Drive Thru is a plus if you're in a hurry. Don't forget the sweet tea. See you there.
We miss them! We have been loyal customers since the 70's. It would be nice if the owners would post on their website when and if they are going to open again.
The Taco DeLite on Independence in Plano is truly a fast food TexMex experience! There's no waiting once you get your food! You're compelled to pull over in the parking lot of the shopping center and NOSH! It's that good!! Especially the crunchy beef tacos! It's messy so dive in and make sure you have a plastic spoon bc there's enough taco residual left in the wrapper thar it easily becomes a taco salad!! Truth! The line moves through very quickly (like ChikFilA) and the waitstaff are very friendly and quick! Portions are very hardly. Don't gripe about the price bc the quality outweighs the increase. You want cheap? Go to Taco Bell and taste the difference! No joke! Breakfast tacos are YumO too!!

I've been eating at the Richardson, TX location for many years; I'm saying, without any doubt, this is the best Mexican food, especially the tacos. I used to only get the taco (I believe it was the special of the day) that was a regular beef taco, but it had a scoop of guac spread entirely over the top of taco. OMG, I could drool. I hope someone in management or at this location would let me know if you still serve this particular special taco before I drive your again! PLEASE and THANKS!
